Gloria Mitchell, along with her husband Paul and their son Micah, moved to South Dakota in June to begin working with Native Americans living on reservations in that area. Gloria is an alumni of HCC, graduating in 2004. She has worked as an elementary teacher at Heartland Christian Academy since graduating from college. Gloria and her husband (a Native American himself) have felt a strong call to work with the Native Americans in the reservations. These peoples are the poorest in the nation and live life with no hope for the future. Paul and Gloria will be working with some local pastors, ministering throughout the reservations and surrounding areas.
