I came to Heartland Christian College because I knew that I knew God wanted me here. I knew from the first week of boot camp that God was going to do something huge in me that would change my perspective on life.
At HCC, I learned how God views me, rather than just how I view myself. I learned about relationships and how to respect others. Before I came to HCC, I did not know how to study, cook, or even clean well; I was able to learn how to do these things to prepare myself for life.
I think the most important thing that HCC has taught me, though, is how to reach out and give away the things I am learning. I am able to pour out to children, to high school students, and even to the people that I meet in Walmart. God changed my life, and Heartland was a willing tool that He used.
