From the Desk of the President

When Jesus walked the earth, he chose to spend time with people from all walks of life. In fact, the outcast, downtrodden, and marginalized members of society he surrounded himself with were the same men and women who turned the world upside down.

In society today, there is a generation of young people who have that same potential. Unfortunately, they tend to disqualify themselves —often due to financial circumstances, or lack of confidence in their ability to succeed. At Heartland Christian College, we want to equip and prepare students for life by being an on-ramp to higher education and the call of God on their lives.

No matter where these students end up—as parents, preachers, construction workers, teachers, medical professionals or pastors—they need to know they can be world changers wherever God plants them.

This task to educate and train a generation requires much effort and resources. We strive to keep HCC’s tuition and housing costs as reasonable as possible so students have the opportunity to graduate debt-free. This is possible due to partners like you who “make up the gap” in other areas.

We invite you to join us in this unique endeavor. The world needs leaders who have prepared themselves, and who stand ready to be agents of change in their communities. Together, we can provide a strong foundation and help these students prepare for life!
