John “Woody” Cozad has more than 30 years of political and legal experience. He first got involved with politics in 1972, going door to door for a gubernatorial election. Woody has served in various capacities under several governors in the political arena, in the private sector, and as a lobbyist.
He founded the Cozad Company, which provides government relations and lobbying in Topeka, Kansas, Washington, D.C. and Jefferson City, Missouri, serving national and regional corporations and non-profit organizations through a combination of political affairs, grassroots management, fundraising and lobbying.
