Author Kathy Nickerson will be meeting with the HCC Writers Guild tonight, October 6th, at the Solid Rock Cafe. If you have an interest in writing for publication, the meeting begins at 6:30pm.
This week is mid-term week. Please take a look at your course syllabi and be aware of any mid-term tests or projects you may have this week. Students will be asked to meet with their Academic Advisors sometime next week or the following week to review grades.
Friday chapel is prayer in the Upper Commons at 8am.
Missions fundraising should begin soon. If you were given an assignment to research a fundraising idea, please come to chapel on Wednesday with all of your information. If the student body would choose to discuss the fundraising options and make a decision on the events that will be used prior to Wednesday that would be even better. With the student body decreasing in size recently, it would probably be best and most effective to choose 2 fundraising events that can be done well and stick with those so students don’t become stretched too thinly to accomplish their homework and other daily tasks.
